On July 13, a coalition of Atlanta’s green nonprofits came together to host the Mayoral Candidate Forum on Greenspace in advance of the November election.
Nearly 400 passionate greenspace enthusiasts attended to hear ten Atlanta mayoral candidates discuss their views on parks, trees, greenspace and watersheds, and the way that the emerging trail network is creating a new way of living in the City of Atlanta.
Thanks to all the nonprofit partners who organized this event – we’re stronger together: Park Pride, Trees Atlanta, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, The Nature Conservancy in Georgia, The Georgia Conservancy, The Conservation Fund, Piedmont Park Conservancy, West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, The Trust for Public Land, and Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
And we couldn’t have organized without our event sponsor, Cox Enterprises, celebrating the 10th year anniversary of Cox Conserves!
