Atlanta Community ToolBank’s Tools, Tips, and Tricks series is now virtual! Don’t miss this informative class in partnership with Park Pride’s Volunteer Team, Chris Lemons and Victoria Burgos, on best practices and the right tools for removal of invasive species such as Bamboo, English Ivy and Kudzu. You’ll learn all about these common invasive plants and why we choose to remove them. Questions? Building Community Through Arts in Neighborhood Parks WEBINAR

Now more than ever, parks are a crucial aspect of building a sense of place, health, and climate change resiliance in urban neighborhoods. This webinar will highlight best practices and lessons learned in building community and place-making through art in urban parks. Atlanta-based artist Muhammad Suber (Artist InUs), Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Analyst , Osaze Stigler, and Park Pride’s Director of Park Visioning, Andrew White will all share their unique experiences and tips on integrating art, community engagement, and park visioning and design.
