The Atlanta BeltLine is helping to transform our city. Originating as “belt line” railroads built over a century ago to expand the industrial base of the city, the corridors were largely abandoned by the late 20th century, but are now being repurposed as a planned 22-mile trail and transit loop that will connect new and old parks.
Take a Child Outside Week (Sept. 24-30) is an annual program that encourages people all over the world, particular children, to participate in outdoor activities.
