Atlanta is known as the “City in the Forest.” Our trees are iconic and fundamental for our city’s well-being and long-term sustainability.

Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Outdoor Activity Center to learn about the scheduled review and update of the City of Atlanta’s Tree Protection Ordinance and how you can help protect your community’s trees.

Please Note:

  • Please bring a water bottle.
  • Light snacks will be provided.

Stick around after the discussion to enjoy a guided hike through the forest from 12 – 1 p.m. (weather permitting).
