“Koffee with Kayla” is a series of local meetings in coffee shops designed to give Friends of the Park groups access to Kayla Altland, Park Pride’s Friends of the Park Associate working with communities in DeKalb, Tucker, and Brookhaven, close to where they live/work/play.

See below for the dates, locations, and times schedule. Friends of the Park group members are welcome to schedule time or just drop in to speak with Kayla in-person about their parks, deliver their MOU, set-up or be tutored on Meetup, perform a park check-in, or get advice about their group.

The dates and locations are as follows:

• Tuesday April 30 | 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – The Corner Cup Coffee, 2625 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033 (District 4 and Tucker)
• Tuesday May 7 | 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Sugar Shack, 4058 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319 (Brookhaven)
• Tuesday May 14 | 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Dunkin’ Donuts, 2704 Candler Road, Decatur 30034 (District 3)
