Did you recently receive your 2019 Fulton County property value assessment and estimate of taxes due later this year? Do you have questions about the assessment or the information in the letter? You may have the option to appeal the assessment if you believe it is too high. Most importantly, are you aware the 45-day window during which you can appeal your assessment ends on August 2?

If this sounds like you, the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Atlanta Legal Aid Society,  NPU-V, the Grove Park Foundation and Alston & Bird are partnering to conduct a series of three free workshops designed to get you the help you need. The first session on July 15 will be informational only, designed to help you understand your property tax statement and the options available if you want to appeal. At the second and third workshops on July 20 and 27, computers will be available and volunteers will provide hands-on assistance to those filing an online appeal.

  • All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a free Amazon Fire tablet. Must attend the entire session to be eligible to win.
  • Light snacks and beverages will be served.
