Closing Celebration of Atlanta Bird Fest 2017

Author of the book The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature, Drew Lanham fascinates readers with the connection of freedom and nature and the contraction of being black in the rural south even up to modern times. An Alumni Distinguished Professor of Wildlife Ecology and Master Teacher at Clemson University, Dr. Lanham defines himself as a birder, a naturalist, and a hunter-conservationist. This event is free and open to the public.
