Join Eco-A on Saturday, April 8th from 9-11 am at Osborne Park in Brookhaven for a walk in an old-growth forest remnant – soon to be included in the national Old Growth Forest Network.

Long-time Brookhaven resident and walk co-host, Tom Reilly, remembers as a child exploring an extensive paradise of woods, fields, streams and even a small cave. Now, just a portion of this area will be protected by the City of Brookhaven, though it is not yet open to the public. Our private tour highlights native forest character including ancient plant communities and several remarkable trees.
