Name(Required)

Join us for a one-hour walk at Red’s Farm Preserve, a unique community greenspace tucked into the heart of Ormewood Park! This special preserve blends urban agriculture, environmental education, and community gathering spaces, creating a place where people and nature thrive together.

As we explore the preserve, you’ll learn about its history, the role it plays in connecting neighbors to local food and nature, and how this community-led space supports environmental stewardship in the city. You’ll also learn about the new Vision Plan that was recently completed by the Park Pride Visioning team and the Friends group. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time, come discover what makes Red’s Farm Preserve such a valued neighborhood resource.

Bring your coffee and walking shoes! See you soon!

Terrain: This walk follows mostly natural and grassy paths with some uneven ground. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for unpaved surfaces. Portions of the route may not be fully ADA accessible.

Parking: There’s a gravel road on Mercer St SE to the east of the park with a few spaces for parking and more at Mercer and Siloam to the west of the park. More on-street parking is available around the neighborhood.
