Join us at Glen Emerald Park to discover a hidden gem rich in biodiversity! Along the way, we’ll explore the park’s natural areas, learn about the wildlife that calls Glen Emerald home, and hear about efforts to protect and restore its habitat.

Whether you’re a park steward, nature lover, or simply curious about the wild spaces in our communities, come explore, learn, and connect with fellow park enthusiasts! This walk is especially great for Friends of the Park groups interested in habitat restoration, urban ecology, and creating environmental education opportunities for their neighbors.

Walk: Approximately a half-mile walk across mixed terrain, including a paved path with some steep elevation changes, as well as mulched and grassy areas.

Parking: Ample parking is available in the parking lot. We’ll meet under the pavilion located near the parking area.
