Park Design Workshop

Park Pride invites you to participate in our Park Design Workshop.
During this two-hour clinic, you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with a landscape professional about your park or greenspace, and you will get insights on how to move your idea forward into a buildable project!
This focused design exercise will address a the design needs of specific area in your park, such as:
- a park entrance,
- a picnic area,
- a trail,
- or a pollinator garden,
- and more!
Advance preparation for this workshop is required. After registering, you will coordinate with Park Pride’s Park Visioning Department to provide information on your proposed project, including a description of what you would like to accomplish, site photographs, and a brief questionnaire.
You will leave with a fuller understanding of the basics of park design as well as customized recommendations that address your area of interest. You’ll also receive recommendations on how to move your project forward to implementation!
