Come to Henderson Park on Sunday September 10th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. to play and learn.

The Friends of Henderson Park invite you to discover more about this 121 acre Tucker treasure.

Volunteers will offer hikes throughout the day that focus on the local birds, native plants, stream and lake, and the trail system.

Scavenger hunts! Nature crafts! Corn-hole! Food and live music! Police and Fire Rescue officers will also visit and show off their vehicles to young fans, and Bartlett Tree service will distribute free seedlings and answer questions about tree maintenance. Fun for the whole family!

The Friends of Henderson Park will also highlight progress on improvements to the trails, signage and dog waste stations, made possible by a Community Building Grant from Park Pride and supported by The Home Depot Foundation.

This event is FREE and open to the public thanks to a Community Foundation Neighborhood Grant to the Friends of Tucker Parks.
