It’s budget season in the City of Atlanta! Grab your green shirt and join us at the following events to make your voice heard in support of our parks and greenspaces.
The City of Atlanta will hold a Public Hearing at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in the Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall Annex, 55 Trinity Avenue SW, Atlanta, GA, for the purpose of hearing written and oral comments from the public concerning the proposed budget as detailed through the link below.
FY 2020 Budget
The Parks & Recreation budget begins on page 219.
During this meeting with Atlanta City Council, Atlanta residents are invited to comment on the proposed FY 2020 budget. Michael Halicki, Park Pride’s Executive Director, will provide comments pertaining to the budget of the Department of Parks & Recreation on behalf of Park Pride and Friends of the Park groups.
