Chalk Art Festival 2018
Make Piedmont Park your canvas during Atlanta Audubon’s Chalk Art Festival as part of Georgia Grows Native for Birds Month this September!
Families, individuals, non-profits, businesses, corporate partners, and local artists are invited to create temporary drawings which will brighten the unveiling following the festival. Participants will receive a square in which to create a unique work of art celebrating Georgia’s native plants and animals.
Following the chalking period, celebrate the public unveiling of Atlanta Audubon’s “Exhibitat” — a permanent, bird-friendly habitat addition to the Piedmont Commons section of Piedmont Park that features a native plant demonstration garden and Georgia’s first Chimney Swift tower.
Unveiling attendees will vote for their favorite drawings, and the top three art pieces will receive prizes!
All proceeds fund long-term maintenance of the “Exhibitat.”
