Every month, Park Pride brings together community leaders and park advocates from throughout Atlanta for education, networking and strategy. Representatives from dozens of Friends of the Park Groups, park conservancies and the parks department attend to learn more about the community efforts in that park, discuss current park and greenspace issues and support each other in efforts to improve our parks and our park system.

Join us for a discussion on park-related issues (throughout our service area), the City of Atlanta’s parks and recreation master plan (ActivateATL), the upcoming city budget cycle, Atlanta’s Tree Protection Ordinance, and COVID-19 reopening plans (throughout our service area.   Atlanta City Councilmember At-Large, Matt Westmoreland (Chair of CDHS) and Commissioner John Dargle both plan to attend. Other government partners have been invited.  Please join us as we to come together for this important parks-related conversation with our government partners.
