Fundraising Workshop: Beyond Basics
During this workshop, Park Pride staff will provide strategies on how to increase your giving levels, articulate your needs and boost organizational sustainability.
Through a combination of conversations with Friends of the Park groups, conservancies, and development professionals, as well as hands-on activities, be prepared to take your fundraising beyond the basics!
You’ll leave this session with:
- a workshopped case statement to help fundraise for your park project,
- a grasp of best practices from successful fundraisers.
This workshop is especially applicable to Friends of the Park groups that received or are preparing for a Park Pride grant and need to raise matching funds.
Registration for this workshop is limited to 25 participants and will take place outside in the park’s pavilion. Please bring any items to make yourself comfortable (sweater, bug spray, windbreaker, etc.).
