Second Friday Walk @ Chosewood Park
October 9 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Use the form below to let us know you’re coming!
Join us for a one-hour walk at Chosewood Park, a hidden gem in Southeast Atlanta! Bring a cup of coffee and your walking shoes as we explore the park and learn how recent improvements (a new playground, nearby development, and growing connections to the Atlanta Beltline) are shaping its future.
In celebration of Walk to a Park Day, we’ll explore what it means for a park to be truly accessible by discussing how sidewalks, trails and pathways can make it easier for residents to visit parks and engage with their community.
Friends of the Park groups are especially encouraged to join us! If your group is interested in pursuing a new playground or learning more about working with City partners to bring park improvements to life, this walk is an opportunity to hear from Chosewood Park stewards, learn from their experience and take ideas back to your own park.
Come walk with us, connect with fellow park stewards, and discover how community leadership and partnerships are helping shape the future of Chosewood Park!
Parking: Nearest Address is 1218 Zebrawood Ct SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. Street parking is available along Zephyr Blvd SE and Englewood Ave SE, and you can enter the park near Zebrawood Ct.
Walk: Approximately a half-mile walk across mixed terrain, including a paved path with some steep elevation changes, as well as mulched and grassy areas near the playground.
