Explore with Park Pride! Join us on Friday, April 10, at 9 am for a one-hour walk at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve!

Led by the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance and DeKalb County’s Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Affairs, we’ll learn more about the Wilburn Farm property, where history, sensitive-lands ecology, and restoration come together. We’ll also hear about the recent Ragsdale Home stabilization, the meadow and grassland restoration in partnership with Birds Georgia, and how the Arabia Mountain staff works to protect the unique granite outcrop plant life. We will also be joined by Christopher Bass, DeKalb County’s new Director of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs! This is a chance to meet Director Bass and welcome him to the community.

If you have time to stick around, the fun continues after the walk with Birds Georgia’s Bird Fest Field Day from 10am – 1pm!
