Join Park Pride, the Friends of Melton Park, and DeKalb County’s Naturalist Jonah McDonald for a Second Friday Walk in the Park as we welcome the arrival of spring and explore the rich, interconnected habitats along the Three Creeks Trail!

As buds begin to open and wildlife becomes more active, this guided walk offers a chance to slow down, observe seasonal changes, and learn how forests, streams, and trails work together to support a healthy park ecosystem. With March 21 marking International Day of Forests, we’ll highlight the vital role of forests and other ecosystems, including trees outside traditional forests, and why thoughtful, sustainable management is essential to the health of our parks and communities.

NOTE: Free street parking is available near the main entrance of the park at the intersection of Desmond Dr and Park Lane.
