This tour is hosted in conjunction with Park Pride’s 17th Annual Parks & Greenspace Conference, Parks & the Resilient City, on Monday, March 26.
Interested in learning how parks and recreation work together with transit and housing to create a more resilient Atlanta? Come see how Atlanta’s “Green Line” connects our communities to trails, housing, recreation, drinking water, and PARKS!

Cost: $5/person. Limited to 30 participants.
Hear from city leaders while touring some of the latest park and recreation projects – all within walking distance of MARTA. Highlights will include: MLK Natatorium, the most state-of-the-art facility of its kind in the city, Proctor Creek Greenway, Quarry Park, and the Five Points Soccer Field.
Speakers along the Green Line will include:

- Dan Calvert – Urban Design, Department of Parks & Recreation
NOTE: This tour includes approximately 1.5 miles of walking. Wear comfortable shoes.
Complimentary MARTA cards will be provided. Complimentary shuttle service will transport attendees back to the starting point.
