Letter of Intent for Park Pride Grant Annual Cycle

    Is your park located in a Qualified Census Tract? Follow this link and enter your park address. Then select the radio button for "Color QCT Qualified Tracts." If your park is within the purple boundaries, it will qualify for a non-matching grant. However, not that this is not guaranteed. A partial or full match may still be required based on available funding. If you need help or have questions, please connect with us at grants@parkpride.org.

  • As identified in the Grant Readiness Tool, there should be a team of people who will help steward the project.
  • Be specific. Not just "playground." What type of playground equipment? What ages will it be designed for? Describe the location in the park.
  • How will the project benefit the community? How did you work with the community to determine this project as a priority?
  • Briefly describe how the community will invest in the project (in-kind, cash, volunteer hours). Based on location, your project may require at least a 1:1 match. If you have a total budget estimate, please share that as well.
