Volunteering in Parks

Volunteer Program

Every year, Park Pride connects thousands of volunteers to meaningful opportunities to make a positive impact on public parks.

Join an upcoming free volunteer day hosted by Park Pride or one of Atlanta’s Friends of the Park groups supporting greenspaces across the city.

Alternatively, we can work together to plan a custom volunteer experience, an ideal option for businesses or corporations (or other large groups) looking to make a deeper impact.

Click to explore the volunteer opportunities below, which are free and open to the public.

Volunteer with Park Pride

Park Pride hosts several Greener Good Volunteer Days throughout the year, planned in collaboration with Friends of the Park groups, ensuring that volunteer projects meet the unique needs of the surrounding community. From mulching and painting, to picking up litter and clearing invasive plants, there is no shortage of ways to make a difference.

People of all ages* and abilities can volunteer with Park Pride. You can sign up on your own, with your family and friends, with members of your congregation or student or civic group – everyone is welcome!

*Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteer with a Friends of the Park Group

Many Friends of the Park groups across the city host regular volunteer days to beautify, maintain, and institute long-lasting, positive change within their neighborhood parks. Park Pride works with Hands On Atlanta to make connecting with these volunteer opportunities fast and easy.
