Join Park Pride and the Friends of Murphey Candler Park for a one-hour stroll around one of Brookhaven’s beloved community greenspaces! You’ll have the chance to see the natural wildlife that call the park home, connect with the people that care for it, learn about the recent construction on the lake, and take a look at the recreation offerings and the new Murphey Candler Park II.

This park is truly a gem, providing a welcoming space for recreation, connection, and stewardship.

February 2nd marks World Wetlands Day, a global moment to raise awareness about the vital role wetlands play for both people and the planet. Celebrate locally (and a bit belatedly) at our Second Friday Walk!
