Spanning nearly 200 acres, Atlanta Memorial Park is the city’s third-largest public park. Nestled between Northside Drive and Howell Mill Road, the western portion follows the southern bank of Peachtree Creek and offers a beautiful blend of active recreation and serene natural spaces.
As we explore, we’ll take in scenic trails, wooded areas, and creekside views while learning about the park’s wetlands and their connection to broader efforts like the Fix Peachtree Creek initiative. We’ll also share updates on an upcoming watershed project expected to take shape in 2026. Join us to discover a hidden gem and hear directly from those helping steward and shape the future of this important greenspace!
NOTE: We’ll meet at the park across from 802 Wesley Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30305. The walk will be along a flat, natural path – wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
