Join the Chattahoochee Brick Company Descendants Coalition for a volunteer project (10 a.m. – 12 p.m.) and a sacred site celebration (1 – 3 p.m.) of the former Chattahoochee Brick Company. You’re invited to join both activities or just one!

The event will pay homage to those who were victims of convict leasing at the old Chattahoochee Brick plant. This is also a celebration of the City of Atlanta acquiring the property to become a memorial and public greenspace, thanks to the advocacy work of Donna Stephens and other members of the Coalition. There will also be a performance by Giwayen Mata.
