Friends of Park groups are crucial to supporting local parks, and each group can be made stronger by leveraging the assets available! These assets can be obvious, like park neighbors and visitors users, nonprofits (like Park Pride) and the Parks & Recreation Department. Other less obvious assets might include local businesses, elected officials, peer Friends groups in other neighborhoods, and more. This interactive workshop will help you identify and map the assets available to YOUR group!

This session is part of the 2026 Park Stewardship Academy, and all Friends group members are welcome to attend!
