Vision 2030

The Future of Atlanta's Parks Starts Now

Park Pride’s 2030 Strategic Framework positions the organization to deepen its impact and strengthen Atlanta’s park system for generations to come. By investing in people, parks, and policy, Park Pride will continue to advance its vision—an Atlanta where everyone has access to a great park.

What We Do & How We Do It

How We Create Lasting Change

Strengthen Community Leadership & Stewardship

We empower residents to shape, steward, and advocate for their neighborhood parks by supporting Friends of Park (FOP) groups with coaching, peer network building, and the Park Stewardship Academy.

Catalyze Park Improvements

We provide park design services, capital funding, and technical assistance that translate community priorities into well designed and well-used parks.

Influence Public Policy & Investment

We champion parks as essential civic infrastructure through strong partnerships and advocacy to advance public funding and pro-park policies.

Leverage Data & Stories

We use measurement and storytelling to demonstrate impact, elevate community voices, and inspire engagement.

Enhance Organizational Resilience

We invest in systems, leadership, and a culture of learning to sustain excellence, amplify impact, and ensure financial stability.

If–Then Logic

When Communities Lead, Parks Thrive

If Park Pride educates the public and key decision makers on the importance of parks and the value they bring to our communities, and if Park Pride equips residents with training, design assistance, and funding; and if communities develop the skills, structures, and voice to keep improving them; then parks are improved in ways people want, use, and will help to steward; which drives stronger public investment and better policies; so that all Atlantans, regardless of neighborhood, enjoy the social, health, and environmental benefits of great parks.
