Signing Into the Conference

Use the Chrome Browser on a Computer

First things first: download or upgrade to the latest version of the Google Chrome browser in advance of the conference. The virtual platform, Hopin, works best on Chrome. If you use another browser, you may experience varying degrees of limited functionality within the platform.

You will also have the smoothest experience if you access the conference on a computer or laptop as opposed to your phone or a tablet.

Access the Conference through Your Email

You will receive an email from Hopin ( at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday with the subject line “Park Pride’s Parks & Greenspace Conference – The New Case for Parks is starting in 59 minutes.”

At 8:30 a.m., access the conference by clicking the blue button in the email that says “Go to the event page.”

Tech Support

If (and only if!), you have technical difficulties accessing the conference on Tuesday morning, Park Pride staff will be on hand to assist beginning at 8:20 a.m.

Each of the breakout sessions, as well as the main stage keynotes, will be recorded and made available to you after the conference.
