Atlanta ContactPoint Play Day

If you haven’t heard of Play Day, you’ve been missing out. And so have your kids. Organized by Atlanta ContactPoint, a nonprofit established to engage children and adults through the power of play, Play Day is a series of FREE days of sports, fitness, nutrition, education, arts, and sustainable initiatives.

As you can see, Play Day is a great way to get out, get active, and have FUN!

Park Pride is proud to partner with Atlanta ContactPoint at Play Day, talking to people about parks and greenspaces in ATL & DeKalb, and bringing them PopUp Art with the help of Young Audiences. playdayThis canvas was created at the Play Day on October 5th at the Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park.

There aren’t any more Play Day planned for 2013, but it will ABSOLUTELY be back in 2014. Make sure to check their website for future dates when they’ll be at a park near you!

**Special thanks to Chris Tilley with gnoggin STUDIOS for producing the Play Day video!**
