DESCRIPTION:Grab your smartphone\, it’s time for the City Nature Challenge!  \nThis is an international effort\, organized locally by the Fernbank Museum with Park Pride as a partner\, to photograph and record animals and plants throughout Atlanta and the metro area. From April 26 to 29\, residents are invited to snap a photo of any plant\, animal or fungi found in our city and upload them into the iNaturalist app.  \nThis global bioblitz is free and open to everyone\, and participants do not have to be able to identify the organisms to join the effort.  \nFor Friends of the Park groups\, this is an excellent opportunity to create or expand a species list for your park. Overall\, your participation allows us to learn more about our local ecosystems while also supporting research surrounding biodiversity and conservation!    \nClick here for more information.
