DESCRIPTION:Join Park Pride’s Director of Education\, Eli Dickerson\, for an informal webinar on Wednesday\, April 26th from 12:00-12:45pm. \nParticipants will learn how to participate in the annual City Nature Challenge which will take place April 28th- May 1st\, 2023 (led locally by Fernbank Museum). The webinar will introduce folks to the free iNaturalist smartphone app and show the basics of how to make observations utilizing the app. \nThis is a FREE entry level training open to all ages.  \nThe goal of City Nature Challenge is for each participating city (Atlanta is one of 500+ cities worldwide!) to get citizens outside and photodocumenting as many wild organisms (plants/animals/fungi) as possible during the designated 4-day Challenge. The data collected has the power to help us learn more about our parks and greenspaces.
