Park Pride is committed to providing Friends of the Park groups with opportunities to stay connected, informed and supported in this difficult time. Join your fellow park advocates for a video conference call to discuss challenges and share creative ideas to continue stewarding your local parks. Building Community Through Arts in Neighborhood Parks WEBINAR

Now more than ever, parks are a crucial aspect of building a sense of place, health, and climate change resiliance in urban neighborhoods. This webinar will highlight best practices and lessons learned in building community and place-making through art in urban parks. Atlanta-based artist Muhammad Suber (Artist InUs), Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Analyst , Osaze Stigler, and Park Pride’s Director of Park Visioning, Andrew White will all share their unique experiences and tips on integrating art, community engagement, and park visioning and design.

Join us with your favorite refreshments to chat, share stories, and build community from the safety of our homes. Grants Workshop

July 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

VIRTUAL EVENT Attendees will walk through Park Pride’s grant application forms step-by-step, discussing all of the requirements needed to submit a complete application. Attendance at this workshop is a mandatory component for Community Building or Legacy Grants. However, all Friends of the Park groups are invited and encouraged to attend!
