If you haven’t visited Adams Park in Southwest Atlanta recently, now is the time! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Adams Park had an exceptionally historic year in terms of park improvements.
Unwind or Let Loose at the Pool & Splashpad
The pool area at Adams Park received an amazing facelift this summer thanks to the collaboration of Park Pride, the City of Atlanta and Carnival Cruise Line.
The pool deck has brand new furniture for the comfort of all who visit. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
Additionally, an unused corner of the pool deck was transformed into a new splashpad, dubbed “Splash Island,” to the delight of neighborhood children.
A New Boardwalk!
You can now enjoy a relaxing walk around the perimeter of the Adams Park lake thanks to the construction of a boardwalk that completes a loop trail. A Legacy Grant from Park Pride helped to fund this improvement, an idea that emerged from the Adams Park community during the 2008 Park Visioning process.
