Join the Friends of Medlock Park on August 26th to Rock the Block!
David Dorbin, of The Effort Foundation, has pledged funding from his nonprofit foundation to re-surface the basketball park and he is also the organizer behind the event. Therefore, this fundraiser will kick-off in the morning with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for youth and adults. Mike “The Stinger” Glenn, a former NBA player, will be the honorary chair.
At 3:00 pm, join us on the football fields with several vendors, sponsors and food trucks.
In the evening, the party will continue rocking with live music!
