Attention park advocates!

It’s budget season! Please mark your calendars and plan to join us at City Hall Council Chambers on Wednesday, May 3rd at 1 PM for the budget briefing of the City of Atlanta’s Department of Parks and Recreation.

Your presence is needed to show our City Council Members how much parks mean to us. Please join us to advocate for an increased budget for park maintenance and operations.

The briefings allow for each city department to answer questions from the legislative body on their expenditures during the current fiscal year and their needs and spending priorities for the next fiscal year’s budget.

The Atlanta City Council is scheduled to adopt a budget for FY 2018 in June.
